KUMASI BRANCH EXECUTIVES OF ALAGUMGUBE

As part of its drive to spearhead the development of the Upper East Region, Alagumgube, a development group, has inaugurated another branch in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region to rally indigenes of the region to champion development of the place.

The inauguration of the Kumasi branch on 27th April 2025 comes just days after Alagumgube successfully inaugurated its new branch in the national capital, Accra, marking the association’s expansion journey.

The event took place at Plus 2 Pub in Kumasi. It was well-attended by local and international dignitaries, including Mr. and Mrs. Charles Akayule, businessman Mr. Baba Atidaana (BONABOTO Chairman, Kumasi), Mr. Gabriel Agambila (Founder), and many others.

In a welcome address delivered by the founder of Alagumgube, Mr. Gabriel Agambila, he emphasized the association’s vision, its dedication to the development of the Upper East Region, and the strategic importance of opening a branch in Kumasi.

Guests enjoyed live cultural performances and refreshments. Many attendees shared their opinions about the association and made generous contributions, expressing strong encouragement for Alagumgube to continue its impactful work.

The newly appointed interim executives of the Kumasi branch were officially sworn in by Mr. Agambila. The executives are Chairperson Margaret Apana, Secretary Faustina Akunyana, Public Relations Officer Hamza Salifu, Organizing Secretary Hawa Sulemana, and Deputy Organizing Secretary Yakubu Razak.

On behalf of the newly sworn in executives, the  Chairperson, Margaret Apana expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all guests and members for honouring the invitation. She reaffirmed the commitment of the executives to work diligently toward the development of the Upper East Region. She concluded by calling on everyone to support the association’s vision in any way they can.

The inauguration ended on a high note, further strengthening Alagumgube’s presence in the region and reinforcing its commitment to community development.
