Andrew Atariwini has offered a candid comparative assessment of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Kennedy Agyapong, stating that while he considers Agyapong the more effective of the two, he is confident that Bawumia will outperform whoever the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presents as its candidate in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking on Dreamz FM’s The State of Our Nation, the former New Patriotic Party Deputy Regional Communications Officer said his support for Kennedy Agyapong during the primaries was rooted in a genuine belief in Mr Agyapong’s superior capabilities, but that his focus has now shifted to ensuring NPP victory in 2028.

“If you compare Bawumia to Kennedy Agyapong, Bawumia is less effective than Ken. But I don’t think he will be less effective than any NDC potential candidate for 2028,” he said.

Mr Atariwini said he is now fully behind Dr. Bawumia and believes the former vice president has what it takes to lead the NPP back to power.
