The parliamentary candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Zebilla Ebenezer Alumire Ndebilla has credited major development projects in the area to the NDC and its governments.

According to Ndebilla, the NDC has been the only party that ensured that the people of the constituency get their share of the national cake.

He said the availability of  amenities such as electricity, educational infrastructure among others in the area is courtesy the governments of his party.

Ndebilla believes this track record of his party gives him an edge over his opponents in the December polls.

“I have to stand on the development projects that had been executed by the NDC. And on that score, if we are looking at things at that level then it means that the people of Zebilla have already endorsed me.

Because it is NDC that brought electricity to Zebilla and I can tell you if you go to Zebilla today, over 70 percent of the communities have been hooked up to the national grid,” he stated in an interview on Breakfast Today on Dreamz FM.

“Again, it is NDC that has been able to plant a lot of health centres in the communities. Health is very key to our people. It is NDC that has expanded the school network. The whole of Zebilla, except some few areas where there are some few schools that some few students sit under trees, most of the schools gave infrastructure”.

Ebenezer Ndebilla is seeking to retain the Zebilla seat for the NDC after succeeding the incumbent MP Cletus Avoka as the party’s candidate.

He explained that his decision to bid to represent the people of the area in Parliament is to bring his experience to bear in the development of the constituency.

He said despite the fact that the constituency appears to be a safe seat for his party, he will not be complacent but relentless in propagating his and the NDC’s message to increase their fortunes in the December polls.
