Upper East Artiste of the Year at the Ghana Northern Music Awards (GNMA), Saint Chicago, has revealed that she is currently not interested in getting into a romantic relationship, as she believes dating at this stage of her career could be detrimental to her growth as a musician. The ‘Ba Na Zoe’ hitmaker says her focus is entirely on building her music career and establishing her brand.
According to Saint Chicago, the thought of being seen by her fans going to a boyfriend’s house is something she cannot entertain, describing it as a source of shame that could damage her brand.
She maintained that her reputation and image before her fans are too important to be compromised by any romantic involvement at this point in her life.
The award-winning artiste disclosed that she has no shortage of male admirers, with several men expressing interest in her on a daily basis. However, she insists she is not ready for any relationship, as her current priority is to build her brand, realize her dreams, make money, and eventually settle down in the future.
“I can’t date. For now, I can’t go to a man’s house to sleep. Hell no! It will be a disrespect to my fans,” she stated emphatically during an interview on Dreamz FM’s Breakfast Today.
