The Member of Parliament for Bolga East Dr. Dominic Ayine has commenced the construction of a modern Astro turf for his constituency, fulfilling a key campaign promise made during the 2024 elections.
The project, awarded to Astro Turf Ghana, aims to provide a modern facility that will promote sports development and community engagement in Bolga East.
At a groundbreaking ceremony, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bolga East, Jacob Akaere revealed that the construction is expected to last for three months. He highlighted that the Astro turf will feature an advanced drainage system and floor lighting, ensuring the facility is durable and can be used for evening games and events.
This development is seen as a major boost for the youth and sports enthusiasts in the constituency, offering a safe and high-quality playing surface. Dr. Ayine’s commitment to improving local infrastructure demonstrates his dedication to enhancing the social and recreational life of his constituents.
