The Member of Parliament for the Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Isaac Adongo, has inspected several completed projects in Sumbrungu.

These facilities include a kindergarten block and maternity blocks at Anateem, a police station, and a culvert at Amogrebisi. Other facilities inspected by the MP include grinding mills. He has constructed 15 of these in Sumbrungu alone, with others distributed across the constituency.

“You recall that recently the Health Minister came he and he called me to tell about doctors who were posted here but did not have accommodation and were threatening to go back. I have subsequently, rented two houses for them but in future, I intend to build permanent structures to accommodate doctors.”

In the area of agriculture, the MP, who is serving his third term, has announced plans to launch a grassroots integrated agricultural project. This initiative will include the provision of five tractors for farming and fingerlings for aquaculture. “I also have a program this year to launch a grassroots integrated agricultural project. That project stems from the challenges we have had with vegetable farming and aquaculture in Bolga. We will be building cages and we will provide the fingerlings and feed. I also intend to bring five tractors to farm and prepare the farms of poor farmers in the constituency.” He stated.

He explained that the interventions in various communities within the constituency are demand-driven, including the kindergarten and maternity blocks at Anateem.
