The Member of Parliament for the Bongo Constituency Charles Bawaduah has embarked on a constituency “Thank You” tour to express his gratitude to the youth and people for electing him in the 2024 Parliamentary elections.
The tour, which began on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, is expected to cover ten zones under the 38 Electoral Areas in the Constituency, including Bongo A, Bongo B, Balungo, Namoo, Feo, Soe, Beo-Adaboya, Valley, Zorko A, and Zorko B.
Accompanied by Constituency Executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the MP engaged directly with constituents, who were given the opportunity to speak with him. Several residents reminded him of his campaign promises and urged him to fulfill them.
During his interactions with the constituents, Bawaduah emphasized the importance of showing appreciation to those, who gave him the mandate to represent them in Parliament.
“I don’t take your support for granted. I’m indebted to you for the victory you gave me in the 2024 Parliamentary elections, and I say thank you,” he stated.
The MP urged the people to continue supporting him and the NDC government to bring development to the Constituency. He also used the opportunity to renew his commitment to fulfilling the campaign pledges he made during the 2024 Parliamentary elections.
“My primary focus is on delivering the development projects and initiatives I promised during my campaign. This tour is just the beginning of our journey together,” Bawaduah added.
The party officials expressed satisfaction with the turnout at each stop and noted that the feedback from constituents would help shape the MP’s agenda going forward.
The “Thank You” tour continues through the week as the MP outlines his immediate plans for the constituency.
