Charger Limited, producers of the popular Happy Man Bitters, has unveiled an ambitious new initiative aimed at encouraging environmental stewardship through its “Return the Sachet” promo.
The promotion, which runs from Monday December 1, 2025, through March 2026, invites consumers to return used sachets of Happy Man Bitters to designated collection points for a chance to win substantial cash prizes and valuable consolation gifts.
The grand prize winner will receive GHS 50,000, making this one of the most lucrative consumer promotions in the market. Second place carries a GHS 30,000 reward, while third and fourth place winners will take home GHS 20,000 and GHS 10,000 respectively.
Beyond the top four rewards, Charger Limited is ensuring broader participation rewards. Each person ranked between fifth and tenth place will receive a redemption reward of GHS 5,000. Participants placing between 11th and 20th will receive Happy Man-branded consolation prizes, including standing fans, irons, mobile phones, and other branded merchandise.
“The ‘Return the Sachet’ Promo is part of Charger Limited’s broader commitment to give back to society and to actively contribute to Ghana’s sanitation drive,” the company’s Public Relations Officer indicated in a press release.
“By encouraging customers to return used sachets, the company aims to reduce environmental waste while deepening community engagement and rewarding the loyalty of its consumers,” the statement added.
The promotion introduces a competitive element designed to maintain participant engagement throughout its duration. Charger Limited will provide weekly updates on participants leading in sachet returns and share monthly acknowledgements to highlight outstanding contributors. Overall winners will be determined at the campaign’s conclusion in March 2026 based on the total number of Happy Man Bitters sachets returned.
The initiative represents a creative approach to addressing Ghana’s ongoing sanitation challenges while building brand loyalty among Happy Man Bitters consumers. By incentivizing the proper disposal and collection of product packaging, Charger Limited is taking practical steps toward reducing environmental waste that often contributes to drainage blockages and pollution in communities across the country.
