In a truly heart-warming and commendable gesture, a distinguished delegation of former football players from the Upper East Region led by Alhaji Sule Bello, rallied to provide crucial support for Ghana’s National U-15 team.

As the young talents meticulously prepare for an upcoming challenging tournament in Burkina Faso, these regional stalwarts demonstrated their unwavering commitment to nurturing future footballing stars.

The group, comprising esteemed figures such as Ayine Eric Aloko, Daana Mubarik, Sule Bello, Osman Musah, Yahaya Mohammed, Azudaa Emmanuel, Amoah Nsoh Isaac, Darko Daniel, and Atangiba M. Sheriff, donated packs of refreshing soft drinks and essential bottled water.

This timely contribution was graciously received by the National U-15 team, led by their Head Coach, Salifu Fatau, affectionately known as Kiyoyo. Coach Fatawu expressed his profound gratitude on behalf of the entire team, management, and technical staff, pledging to work with unrelenting zeal to bring pride to both the Upper East Region and the entire nation during the prestigious tournament.

Coach Nicholas Ayine Ayida, spokesperson for the former players, emphasized the perfect timing of their donation. He highlighted the special connection, acknowledging Coach Salifu Fatawu as a “son of the Upper East Region,” and conveyed their earnest desire to see him ascend to the pinnacle of national football, thereby elevating the illustrious name of the Upper East Region on both the national and global stages.
