The Bolgatanga Mobil Park was transformed into a pulsating cauldron of electrifying energy and unbridled passion as nineteen diverse communities converged for the spectacular finale of the 4th Inter-Community Unity Soccer Tournament.

In a titanic clash that will be etched in the glittering annals of local football, Tanzui Community delivered a virtuoso performance to overcome Daportindongo Community with a resounding 2-0 score line. The clinical Bernard ignited the jubilant celebrations in the 12th minute, followed shortly by a breath-taking and decisive strike from Denis Alangdi in the 18th minute. This victory was particularly poignant and rewarding for Tanzui, marking their third appearance in the final since 2021 and finally seeing them hoist the majestic giant trophy toward the heavens.

At the heart of this triumphant campaign was the extraordinary and visionary Coach Emmanuel Azudaa. Currently steering the ship at Division Two side Berekum City FC, Azudaa proved once again that tactical genius and raw leadership often outweigh formal qualifications.

Azudaa holds License C and has a track record of producing miraculous results at both the club and community levels.

Having previously secured the maiden Frafra Unity Games title and leading his side to last year’s finale, Azudaa has firmly cemented his reputation as the undisputed king of community football coaching.

Beyond the fierce and high-octane competition on the pitch, the event served as a profound celebration of limitless unity and communal harmony.

The air was filled with contagious laughter as players shared heart-warming stories, while respected elders exchanged dignified handshakes and warm smiles, perfectly embodying the tournament’s core mission of togetherness.

The awards ceremony was a glittering and extravagant affair. Tanzui secured a handsome GHC 3,000 cash prize alongside their shining medals, while Daporetindongo took home  GHC 2,000 as  runners-up.

Individual excellence was rightfully honoured, with Tanzui Azuma Perry being named the Best Player of the Tournament and Mensah Carlos earning the  Best Goalkeeper title. Other notable heroes included the Top Scorer Desmond Akane and the Most Promising Player, Adongo Elijah.
