Member of Parliament for Assin Central and flagbearer aspirant of the governing New Patriotic Party, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong will not find divine favour for attacking men of God, founder and leader of the Prophetic Hills Chapel has said.
Nigel Gaisie said the Assin Central MP lost the chance of rising to become leader of the NPP and probably, president of Ghana when he launched vitriol against him and other charismatic clergies.
According to him, the clergy has a special covenant with God hence, attacking them is a disregard to the biblical teachings and will incur God’s wrath.
“If not for what Kennedy Agyapong did to some of us, he stood a very good chance but he has messed it up. And I think that when he is alone on his pillow, he regret some of these regrettable actions,” he stated.
For attacking him in particular, Nigel Gaisie said there is no way God will bestow his honour on the MP.
He added that in the unlikely event that Mr. Agyapong becomes leader of the governing party, he will wage a spiritual battle against his bid to become president.
“For my sake, there’s no way God will honour him. Some of us have covenant before God, some of us have walked with God, some of us have served God that you attacked me, it was unfortunate”.
He added, “What he did to the church, even if they give the nod to him, some of us will pray and fight that it should not be”.
The Assin Central MP few years ago launched and sustained verbal attacks on some clergies he described as fake, vowing to expose them. Nigel Gaisie was one of his targets and he repeatedly called the prophet out using his media platforms.
Gaisie, in reaction, rained curses on the MP, accusing him of levelling baseless allegations against him.
He later in an interview expressed his desire to make amends with Mr. Agyapong and in February 2022, met him to smoke the peace pipe.
But speaking in an interview on Joy Prime TV, he asserted that although he still loves the MP, his attacks on him and the church will not go unpunished.
