Chief Executive Officer of Charger Limited Dr. Emmanuel Bortey Borketey is advising award winners at the just ended Happy Man Bitters Upper East Music Awards to strive to become global stars.
Congratulating them in a social media post, the CEO of the company which produces the headline sponsor says the musicians have prospects of becoming global icons and should not get complacent by the achievements they have chalked thus far.
He also expressed his desire to meet them all.
Dr. Borketey, prior to the awards night, announced juicy packages for winners of the Artiste of the Year, Blogger of the Year, Best New Act of the Year, HMB Most Popular Song of the Year and the Male Vocalist of the Year.
He had indicated that winner of the coveted award would walk home GH¢20,999 rich and benefit from brand sponsorship for a concert as well as supply of Charger Limited products for a year and the use of the brand logo.
For winner of the HMB Most Song of the Year, he receives a cash prize of GH¢5,000 and sponsorship for a music video.
The Blogger of the Year is rewarded a cash prize of GH¢5,000, monthly data worth GH¢200 for 12 months and supply of Happy Man products.
The New Act of the Year award winner would receive GH¢500 monthly stipend for a year while that of the Male Vocalist of the Year receives a cash prize of GH¢5,000.
