General overseer of Amazing Power Church International Prophet Joseph Billa has reaffirmed his prophesy that former flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will be retained as a leader of the party and dismissed prophesies predicting Kennedy Agyapong as the NPP’s next leader.

A number of self-acclaimed prophets including Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun, leader of the Spiritlife Revival Ministries have tipped Kennedy Agyapong, a former Member of Parliament for Assin Central, to become the next flagbearer of the largest opposition party, claiming it is a divine revelation.

But speaking in an interview on Breakfast Today on Dreamz FM, Prophet Billa insisted the former flagbearer will lead the party again and said his colleagues, who are prophesying victory for Kennedy Agyapong, may not have seen the divine vision properly or misunderstood the message altogether.

Explaining how prophets get divine revelations wrong, he said some of them have poor visions or hearing challenges in the spiritual realm and thus, may be unable to properly see and interpret such divine communications.

“In the realm of the spirit too, there are some too, they cannot hear properly. They cannot see properly. So, to me, I saw properly, I heard properly. Maybe he didn’t see properly. It could be so,” he stated.

In other instances, he said, the angel delivering the message may have limited access to information due to their ranking and could deliver wrong prophesies to seers.

“We have superior angels, and some not up to that. We have different kinds of angels. So, if the angel that revealed to them is not having access, like the way the angels working with us are having access, I can tell,” he stated.

“But to me, I saw it was Mahamudu Bawumia, who was declared the winner. I saw it vividly.  I didn’t see them going to vote again. He was the one that won the election.

And his name, his picture is everywhere, for the 2028 general election.”

Prophet Billa, however, said he has always gotten his prophesies right and believes that his prediction of Dr. Bawumia being retained will come to pass.

“What I see is that I have never prophesied about something that did not come to pass.”
