Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga East Constituency, Dr. Akuritinga Ayine has beaten his opponent, Dr. Emmanuel Abeere-inga in the Parliamentary primaries to retain the party’s ticket for the 2024 Elections.
Dr. Ayine polled 292 of the total votes cast while Dr. Abeere-inga trailed with 120 votes.
Dr. Ayine is seeking another term after serving 3 terms. He has been MP for the area since 2012.
