The New Juaben South Constituency Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC),Korley Tei Mensah has lost, at least, two of his teeth after involving in a confrontation with the Eastern Regional Youth Organizer of the party, Richard Etornam Nyarku at a polling centre in the ongoing primaries of the party.
According to reports, the Regional Youth Organizer was about to cast his vote when the Constituency Youth Organizer popularly known as Rolex pounced on him, accusing him of instructing delegates, who had showed up to vote, to tow a certain line.
Mr. Nyarku, who is said to have been enraged by the action of Rolex, responded with a hefty punch which landed on his chin, sending him into an unconscious state.
Rolex, subsequently, gained consciousness and attempted to retaliate but the police intervened and whisked both away.
Rolex is said to have lost 2 of his teeth while the Regional Youth Organizer sustained minor injuries.
They have since been detained at the Koforidua Central Police Station.
