FORMER PRESIDENT, JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA

Former president, John Dramani Mahama has failed to get a perfect score in the presidential primaries of the National Democratic Congress in the Pusiga Constituency.

Mr. Mahama, throughout his campaign for the primaries, urged delegates to vote massively for him so that he will secure a 100 percent  endorsement.

But the results declared in the Pusiga Constituency after the exercise reveals that the former could not make the perfect mark.

He polled 843 votes out of the total 864 ballots cast. Kojo Bonsu followed remotely with 17 votes while Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, who has pulled out of the race, managed only 4 votes.

This means Mr. Mahama won by 97.6 percent of the valid votes, a little over 2 percent shy away from the perfect score he had wished for.
