Host of Showbiz Hour on Dreamz FM Atanga Alex also known as Jah Bless has been adjudged Industry Person of the Year at the 2023 Happy Man Bitters Upper East Music Awards.
The award, which was conferred on him at the annual event held on Friday 5, 2024, is in recognition of his contributions to the growth of the music industry in the region.
Jah Bless, through the entertainment show which airs every Saturday’s afternoon, has put a spotlight on and projected many music talents in the region.
In recognition of his efforts in promoting the region’s music, he was nominated for the fifth edition of the award along with 4 others who have also played critical role in that regard.
He, however, emerged top, grabbing the award.
Receiving the honour, Jah Bless expressed gratitude to the organizers of the award scheme for the recognition.
He also thanked management of Dreamz FM for giving him the platform to play the role he has played in projecting music from the region.
