The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central Constituency in the Upper East Region, Isaac Adongo, says he remains hopeful that President John Dramani Mahama will appoint him to serve in his government at the cabinet level.
Mr. Adongo made the remarks in an exclusive interview on Dreamz FM, where he reacted to critics who have said President Mahama has disappointed him by not appointing him since the NDC government assumed office.
The Bolgatanga Central MP said President Mahama is well aware of his capabilities and value, and will call on him to serve at the appropriate time.
“I have never lost hope. John Mahama knows my value and capacity, and will bring me to cabinet at the right time when he needs me to serve,” he said.
Mr. Adongo did not indicate whether he had held any discussions with the President regarding a possible appointment, but expressed full confidence that his time to serve at the cabinet level will come.
