A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications team, Moses Amoah, has called for a shift in how residents of the Upper East Region assess political leadership, urging voters to prioritize development outcomes over party loyalty.
Speaking on Dreamz FM’s “Breakfast Today,” Mr Amoah criticized what he described as entrenched political strongholds, arguing that unwavering support for a single party could hinder development.
He encouraged voters to hold leaders accountable and consider alternative political options if their expectations are not met.
“Development should be the priority, not party affiliation,” Mr Amoah said, adding that competition between parties could drive better results for the region.
He pointed to other regions experiencing rapid growth, suggesting that strategic leadership and advocacy are key to attracting major infrastructure projects.
