National Democratic Congress (NDC) communicator Michael Nangena has defended voter loyalty in parts of the Upper East Region, rejecting suggestions that support for the party reflects political bias.
Speaking during a radio discussion on Dreamz FM, Mr Nangena argued that electoral support is based on performance and trust, not blind allegiance.
He cited voting patterns in constituencies such as Navrongo, noting that consistent backing for the NDC reflects the party’s perceived value among constituents.
Mr Nangena pushed back against calls for voters to shift political allegiance, saying such arguments overlook the historical and developmental considerations that inform voter decisions.
He maintained that communities continue to evaluate political parties based on delivery and impact, adding that the NDC remains committed to addressing the region’s development needs.
